Nikhat has a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management.
She enjoys solving mathematical problems. As soon as she understands something, she wants others to have a look at it too. Teaching is one of the best ways to do it. She encourages her students to enjoy mathematics and develop patience and persistence while solving problems.
Expertise
She has taught Mathematics in online and face-to-face settings for over nine years and taught international curriculums, namely Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, A Levels, Pearson Edexcel GCSE and MHF4U Advanced Functions Ontario curriculum, as well as Indian National curriculums CBSE and ICSE.
She has also taught Cambridge IGCSE Extended Math 0580, International Math 0607 and
Additional Math 0606 curriculum to the students based in Singapore.
She received professional training to teach International Mathematics (0607), A Levels and IGCSE (0580) (0980) question paper marking from Cambridge and category one training to teach IBDP higher level Math from IBO.
She has designed integrated lesson plans and trained teachers to deliver the same effect.
Objective
In mathematics, instead of what is right, you realise why a solution works; her objective is to guide students to become confident in using mathematics to analyse and solve problems effectively in school and real-life situations.
She always looks forward to updating and sharing her knowledge as an Educator and believes in the lifelong learning process. She gives her students an optimistic view, helping them excel in exams and beyond!
