Dr Ajeenkya D Y Patil

Dr Ajeenkya D Y Patil is a renowned educationist and a visionary thinker. He is the President of Ajeenkya D Y Patil University and Chairman of Ajeenkya D Y Patil Group.

Besides holding leadership positions in several organisations, he has spoken at the House of Lords, UK and many other esteemed international platforms.

His illustrious list of achievements includes being appointed as Chairman, Central Board for Workers Education (CBWE) by Ministry of Labour, Government of India; and Economic Adviser to the President of Guyana.

Dr Ajeenkya D Y Patil is the recipient of several prestigious accolades from organisations all over the world. He considers it his life mission to transform people’s lives through leveraging the potential of educational excellence.

Lon McDaniel

Mr Lon McDaniel is a retired American Principal of several international world schools with over 30 years of teaching and school leadership experience, in Europe, Asia, and India. He has been an IB Examiner and is the author of several books.

Mr McDaniel is currently residing in Sweden but is still on the Board of the Indo Global Chamber of Commerce.

Michael Thompson

Mr Michael Thompson is an experienced international school head having served in that capacity in Europe, Africa, India (Pune and Mumbai) and is currently head of the largest international school in Jamaica. He has served as an accreditation leader for CIS, NEASC and WASC for over twenty years and is the author of the book “A guide to establishing and maintaining quality international schools”.

Mr Thompson served on the education sub-committees of the Government of India’s Planning Commission which developed the Government’s 5 Years Plan 2021-2017.

During the recent global pandemic, Mr Thompson led the successful transition of his school from face-to-face to online education and brings a wealth of experience to the Board of Advisors of GoSchool.

Nicola Weaver

Ms Nicola Weaver is currently the Chief Academic Officer for iXperience, an entrepreneurial startup that combines immersive classroom learning, hands-on professional experience, and cultural and personal exploration. Prior to that, she ran a multi-million dollar, multi-year education innovation investment initiative for one of the largest financial services groups in Africa.

Nicola is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education through the University of Glasgow. She has completed the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education programme on Innovation for Economic Development, and holds a Masters degree (Economics) from WITS, an Honours Degree (Economics) from the University of Cape Town, and B.A. (Value & Policy Studies) from the University of Stellenbosch.
